THE GREEN MAN

Written and illustrated by Gail E. Haley, THE GREEN MAN is a verry useful and engaging story that tells how an encounter with the natural environment transformed an arrogant young man into a steward of the Earth and it's inhabitants ( both human and animal ).

The author's notes trace the historical traditions behind the European legend which she also documented in her Weston Woods program, "Tracing a Legend".
